Bones (トミ, Tomi) is a lazy, dog villager in the Animal Crossing Series. He has appeared in every game up to date. His name is derived from bones, a popular treat for dogs, and possibly from the term "Lazy Bones." His catchphrase is probably from the noise dogs make.
Bones is a dog that has muddy brown and coal black spots all over his body. A rather large brown patch covers his right eye, making it look like a bull's-eye. His floppy dog ears are tipped black and his muzzle is a plushy, faded pink. His tail is also black and his paws and feet appear the same color as his muzzle. He has a black, doggy nose and a curly smile like a real dog would. He could possibly be based off of a Jack Russel Terrier or the "Target Dog". He initially is wearing the caveman tunic that is brown with random light orange and yellow spots.
Below is a brief description of the lazy personality. For more information, click here.
As a lazy villager, Bones will be easy to get along with due to his laid back lifestyle. Like all lazy villagers, he shares an interest in food and relaxing. He will enjoy partaking in the usual hobbies, usually for relaxing reasons or for food (fishing). He will get along well with other villager types such as the sweet villagers are around the same age, and peppy villagers who he will act like an elderly brother to. He may offend or confuse jock villagers, who have a conflicting lifestyle of exercise and fitness, who do not understand the reason behind the lazy lifestyle choice.
Bones' house has a few items from the Kiddie Series, such as the Kiddie wall which matches the Green Floor he has laid out in his house. He also has two gyroids, a computer, a writing desk and chair and an office chair. Bones has no stereo in his house initially, but once he obtains a stereo it will play K.K. Ragtime.
