Animal Crossing: City Folk
Prince (カール, Carl) is a lazy, frog villager in the Animal Crossing series. As a lazy villager, he will easily befriend the player. His name is based off the fairy tale, The Frog Prince. His catchphrase, "burrup", is a play on the word "burp" and the sound a frog makes, a croak which for some frog species consists of one croak which changes pitch halfway. He was absent from Animal Crossing: Wild World and appears in Animal Crossing: City Folk.
Prince is a green frog, who has a circular beard and cream lips. He is slightly similar to Harry, a hippo, who also has cream lips and a red beard. He looks unwashed and scruffy, which goes with his lazy personality. Sometimes, he may be see him wandering around the city, talking about GracieGrace, Kicks and an assortment of things involving the City. Sometimes he may say, "Now that I'm here, I might get souvenirs for people back home" like most lazy boys who visit the city. That is the first thing he may say.
Below is a breif description of the lazy personality. For more information, click here.
He is a lazy villager. As a lazy villager, he will have small interests in sleeping around, talking about napping and food, and sometimes talking about super heroes. Despite this, he will be hospitable and welcoming towards the Player. As a lazy villager, he will also be the thorn in the side of snooty and cranky villagers, annoying them with his laidback exterior and laziness. He may become heavily involved in the village events, and be a rival in competitions like the Fishing Tourney and Bug Off.
His house has a slight Construction Theme, including a red, brown, and green drum, and an iron frame. The other pieces of furniture are a complex machine and a robo dresser. He also has mod wall and diner tile. Café K.K. plays on his stereo.
